Site Description

Beech Croft Farm is a small, family-run caravan park and camping site, located between Buxton and Bakewell in Derbyshire. It is right in the heart of and makes an ideal base for exploring the Peak District National Park.
This quiet park is beautifully situated, nestling in a sheltered meadow, with stunning views of the rolling Derbyshire hills. The Park is located on the Pennine Bridleway, with the Monsal Trail and Limestone Way both nearby. Local places to visit include Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton, Chatsworth House and Matlock.

Main Season (March - October)

Touring Caravans, Motorhomes and Family Tents are all welcome at Beechcroft Farm!
There are 30 caravan pitches, with electric hook-ups and grass alongside to take an awning. There is a separate flat, grassed area for tents. The park offers excellent facilities including toilet and shower block.
They have a shop on site offering basic provisions and we also sell Calor Gas and
Campingaz.

Toilet and shower block with hot and cold water to hand basins.
Electric shaver points and hand dryers. Showers operate using tokens.
Separate room for dishwashing.
Chemical toilet disposal.

Separate flat, grassed area for tents.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control at all times.
Barbecues are allowed using portable or disposable barbecue (disposable available at shop) Please do not light camp fires on the ground.

I stayed here with my partner in the summer of 2010. It gives you a wonderful feeling of seclusion and calmness. The campsite itself was clean and tidy and facilities were good. It made a great base for exploring the local countyside and the beautiful town of Bakewell. It is also close to Chatsworth House which is well worth a visit.
