Lizard Lane Caravan Site is located close to the cliffs and beach at Marsden, South Shields, Tyne & Wear and just over the road from South Shields Golf Club with Lizard Lane Horse Riding School only a short walking distance away. The main shopping area at South Shields town centre is only a short drive along the coast with many big name shops like ASDA and NEXT in town centre, if you need any camping supplies / gas then the Camping & Caravan Direct showrooms is only a short drive away. Just down from the campsite is Souter Lighthouse which is open to visitors, Souter was the first lighthouse in the world to be powered by use alternating electric current

small friendly site set back just from the beautiful south shields coast line ,well worth a visit
