Site Description

Elm Cottage Touring Park is beautifully situated in the heart of Mid-Cheshire. The site is privately owned and also a family run park which attracts families, couples and individuals over 18.

Touring Caravans, motorhomes and tents are all welcome.

The park has 2 acre marked pitch touring field, a 6.5 acre camping and rally field and a modern underfloor heated toilet block with free hot water and showers.

In addition to being an approved Calor Gas Dealer, Elm Cottage is also can supply visitors with many other services such as battery charging, an on-site tyre inflation and morning newspapers. There small shop offers cold drinks, ices, fresh milk and basic grocery and non food items as well as freshly baked bread at weekends during the main season.

More Details

Elm Cottage tent season starts at Easter and normally finishes at the end of September depending on the weather. Tents can be pitched around the edge of the camping area, leaving the centre free for recreational pursuits (no kite flying).
Campers have the use of the Amenity Block adjacent to the camping field. A facility for freezing ice-packs is available at the park reception.

BBQ's are allowed as long as they are off the grass and any used charcoal and ashes are deposited in the designated metal bin. No open fires allowed.

The 35 pitches suitable for caravans, motor homes and trailer tents are situated in a two acre, mostly level field with a hedged boundary. Hard surfaced access roads lead to a mixture of all-weather and grass pitches each with 10 amp electric hook-up.

Other on-site facilities include an environmentally-friendly Amenity Block opened in May 2008. Along with the usual
male and female facilities, the new block includes a dishwashing room, a laundry room and a disabled/toddler wet room.

Located on the A54, about 3 miles west of Winsford, 1.5 miles from Oulton Park Motor Racing Circuit and only 400 yards from
The Shrewsbury Arms Public House. Visitors to Elm Cottage are offered a choice of accommodation. They can stay in there
studio style Chalet annex (right) that contains a double bed, a two-seater sofa bed and a Freeview colour TV/DVD together
with basic self-catering amenities such as fridge, microwave, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, and of course an
en-suite luxury shower room.

Alternatively, visitors can be accommodated in the main house either in the double room with luxury en-suite shower facility or in the family room with it’s adjacent luxury shower room.

Both of these rooms offer Freeview colour TV/DVD and hospitality tray. Full English breakfast is freshly cooked.

A lounge is normally available for there guests staying in the double and family rooms within the house. Evening meals are available by prior arrangement. All meals are served in the guest's dining room overlooking the garden and pond. Ample off-road car parking is available for all guests.
