Approximately 2 miles from Dalebottom Farm is the historic Ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle which is accessible by footpath from the site. The best time to vist this mysterious setting is at sunset or sunrise in order to experience the full effect.
St John's in the Vale Church is also accessible by footpath from the site. The Church dates back to 1554 and is well worth a visit.
