Site Description

Moss Wood is a fabulous, family run caravan park set in a magnificently maintained tree-lined park area. The Park has been established and in the same ownership for nearly 30 years.

Touring Caravans are accommodated in our level sheltered touring area with individual services to pitches and hard standings for caravans and awnings.

Holiday Home caravans are all privately owned with no sub-letting or permanent residential use allowed. There is usually a large selection of new and pre owned holiday caravans for sale, a selection of which can be viewed.

Moss Wood is also 'Finalist' in the Calor Gas, "Best Park in England" Award and once again graded as "EXCELLENT" by the English Tourism Council.

Moss Wood is located between Blackpool and Morecambe in the heart of Wild Goose Country. The site offers the beautiful scenery of the Lancashire countryside and is a fabulous base from which to explore and enjoy the many attractions that surround the area.

Moss Wood is just a short distance from the majestic Forest of Bowland and offers easy access to England’s Lakes and Dales National Parks and the many other attractions on this popular stretch of the Fylde coast.

The village of Cockerham is is a busy place with many unusual attractions including Parachuting, Microlighting and Tetratholon all happening close by.

Pubs and Restaurants

In the center of the village is the Manor Pub, which serves local beers and great country food. Also on the village margin is Wallings Pudding House which is ideal for afternoon tea or a more formal evening meal.

In the locality there are many individaul local pubs serving good food and Real Ale.

Sea fishing, course fishing, fly fishing are all available within 20 minutes of the park.

Golf is only 10 minutes away.

Walking is right on the doorstep, with the coastal walkway, various bridal paths and public footpaths available.
