Site Description

Just 10 minutes from the beach and with easy access to Southport and Preston, Riverside is a perfect retreat for access to a whole host of activities and attractions.
Riverside Holiday Park is open from 14th February until the 31st January. Boasting over 80 acres, Riverside is divided between holiday homes and touring pitches.

They are very fortunate to have over 400 happy holiday home customers, many of whom started touring before taking the step to make Riverside their regular holiday destination. For the commencement of 2009, Riverside has also added 20 new units for the purpose of holiday hire: more and more people like to try before they buy and this also ensures that there really is the accommodation to suit everyone.

Riverside can also cater for large rally bookings and in 2010 they are delighted to once again host the Steam & Vintage Fair.

They have one main shower & toilet block and two additional toilet blocks, these are all central heated. The main toilet block has disabled, baby changing and covered dishwashing sink facilities.

They also have a fully equipped laundry with five washing machines and dryers.
The recently extended play area has a great range of facilities incorporating swings, climbing frames and slides. Keeping safety in mind there is a soft landing of selected wood bark and the park is regularly maintained to a high standard.
There is plenty to keep your children entertained in their fantastic Funky Monkey Club. They have everything from children’s entertainers, discos, fancy dress, games, prizes and much, much more.

At Riverside they have a well stocked shop to cater for your daily requirements. They have all the expected daily newspapers and magazines as well as a wide selection of groceries. You can get all your breakfast needs, sausage, bacon and eggs, as well as for the more health conscious fruit and vegetables. If you are planning a BBQ there is no better place to pick up the food items that you require. There is also a varied selection of gifts, toys and souvenirs. The shop also stocks emergency supplies of caravan spares and basic items for the unexpected.

Riverside offers many dog walks on a lead, with a specific walk around the park, there are also many walks off the park. Dog owners must ensure that they are responsible for their dog and clean up after them at all times.
The Lounge Bar is open daily with entertainment ranging from bingo and karaoke nights to regular superb live artists and much more.

This site was absolutley fantastic we went with a very large group of family 5 tents worth with dogs also all pitched in a big circle. The facilities were fantastic so much for the children to do and everything was spotless!We enjoyed lots of fun and games and could not falt it at all. It is in a perfect position for days out too as very close to southport. Would definately go back again as we all loved every minute of it!
