Site Description

The Witches Craig park is an attractive and exceptionally well-maintained touring park right in the heart of Braveheart Country. This friendly and scenic park is overlooked by the historic Wallace Monument while the Ochil Hills dramatically ascend from the rear of the park and stretch eastward as far as the eye can see.

Caravans, motorhomes and tents are welcome during the months of April – October inclusive

Witches Craig Caravan Park is approximately 3 miles from the City of Stirling in Central Scotland. This area provides a wealth and diversity of attractions which begin right on your doorstep with the Wallace Monument and The Old Stirling Bridge – site of William Wallace’s historic victory in 1297. Stirling itself is known as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’. The ancient city has developed around the magnificent Stirling Castle. It is a blend of old and new, providing the contrast of a host of ancient buildings and quaint shops with modern facilities including a large shopping centre.
In addition to Stirling Castle there is the Old Town Jail, the Tolbooth Arts Centre and Bannockburn Heritage Centre which commemorates King Robert the Bruce’s victory in 1314.

Within 10 miles of Witches Craig, places of interest include Castle Campbell, Alloa Tower, Alva and Dollar Glen, Doune Castle, Dunblane Cathedral, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Smith Art Gallery, Cinema, Museums and Parks.The University of Stirling provides a fantasic walk around Airthrey Loch and is within walking distance from the park.
