Site Description
The 'Washington Caravan and Camping Park' is a member of the 'English Tourist Board' and is 'ANWB' and 'DCC' approved. This 4 Star campsite is open all throughout the year.
The campsite boasts 21 hard-standing pitches for both caravans and camper vans, with accommodation for 80 or so tents within its 1.8 hectare (4.5 acre) site. There are also 23 electrical hook-ups (all 16A).
"The sanitary facilities are housed in a heated chalet style building and are of an excellent standard, including spacious shower rooms (on payment), and indoor dishwashing and laundry facilities".
Hot water, toilets and washing facilities are free.

Campers must register as soon as possible on arrival.
Please note that all fees must be paid in advance. If this is not adhered to the owner has the right to remove the caravan or tent from the site.
Weekly terms can be negotiated according to the time of year.
As they wish this to be a quiet and peaceful site, they ask that all late arrivals and guests make as little noise as possible between the hours of 11:00pm and 7:30am so that all may sleep.
To maintain the standards of the campsite the owner has the right to refuse entry to vehicles / caravans of an unsightly nature.
Caravans must be towed by their owners car. No cars or vans without current road tax are allowed on site.
Please ensure that when emptying your toilets you use the Elsan disposal at the far end of the toilet block and NOT into the lavatories.
Although they welcome pets, they do ask owners to keep them under control at all times. Because of hygiene, dogs are not allowed to run free on the campsite. All dogs must be kept on a lead. Any fouling must be removed by the owner of the animal. They reserve the right to make an additional charge for dogs causing a nuisance.
As the toilet chalet is of a very high standard, they expect all toilets and sinks to be left clean.
No fires allowed on the grass or concrete stands. Barbecues must not be less than 20cm from the ground.
Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
No vehicle is allowed on the site that is not insured or licensed.
