The large outdoor swimming pool and toddlers' pool is set in a fenced patio area, the perfect suntrap for swimming or sunbathing – spend the whole day relaxing on the park, or take a dip to cool off after a day out sight seeing. The pool is open and heated from the end of May to the beginning of September and is free for guests to use.
The popular poolside Ploughman's Bar will ensure you have no need to travel for a warm, friendly atmosphere for a drink. Or if you just fancy a quiet night in to watch the sun set why not take advantage of the takeaway food service. The bar is open on Friday and Saturday nights only outside of the school holidays. The takeaway is only open during school holidays. However, there is a Little Chef just 5 minutes walk away.
Adjoining the bar is an attractive, flower filled conservatory, which allows you to enjoy the evening sun with a drink, or watch the children splashing around in the pool while you relax.
There is also a new patio seating area overlooking the play area. This is a fenced adventure play area, with a playhouse, slide, swings and a seesaw for the younger children to enjoy.
The amusement/games room is equipped with various video machines and a pool table for the older children and there is a ball pit for the younger ones. There is also a television room.
The reception doubles as a small shop, selling bread, milk, newspapers, sweets and ice creams. For your other grocery needs we are only 5 minutes drive from Tesco in Axminster.
The Information room is packed with leaflets, posters and ideas to ensure you are never at a loss for something different to do on each day of your holiday.
