Cheddar Bridge is a picturesque Caravan and Camping Site in a riverside setting with luxury heated facilities. They are located within close walking distance of the historic village of Cheddar, its amenities and leisure centre, the spectacular Cheddar Gorge and Caves and the Mendip hills. The river Yeo passes through the caravan site with many camping pitches next to the riverbank.
Enjoy the wonderful view of the Mendip Hills from the Caravan and Tent pitches. The site is part of a Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Norman Ancient Monument. Cheddar Bridge is a high quality central touring base for Wells, Bath, Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury, Street, Somerset Levels and villages. We have also have 7 units and 2 Apartments.
Their site is exclusively for adults (over 18) purely to offer an alternative to family sites away from ball games and bikes, offering a relaxed atmosphere.
At present they have Riverside and enclosed Garden Caravans, the Riverside units have decking areas over looking the River Yeo. Sorry no pets are allowed in these units, their Garden Caravans have fully enclosed areas with picnic tables that are better suited to well behaved dogs, maximum of two per unit and not on the furniture.
