Site Description

This is a quiet family run park situated in a lovely natural setting on the banks of the river Swale, in the heart of the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside only two miles from Richmond - the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.

You can explore the quaint market towns, historic houses and abbeys, waterfalls, museums, scenic country walks and theme parks or you can simply relax on the banks of the river Swale or even try your hand at fishing.

There are 177 touring pitches of which 100 are seasonal and are in high demand, 27 of these are fully serviced de-luxe pitches. There are 40 non-electric pitches for caravans and tents.

They also have a small park of 22 statics which are privately owned. There is a high demand for these pitches when one becomes available.

Two heated toilet and shower blocks, (newly refurbished 2007)both having baby changing and disabled facilities. Razor points for gents, hairdryers in both ladies and gents

Games building including pool table, seating and arcade games.

Laundry room incorporating washing machines, tumble driers, and ironing facilities.

On site Reception and licensed shop stocking a wide range of frozen products, fresh bread, cakes, dairy produce and local free range eggs. Also available are cigarettes, papers, soft drinks caravan accessories, and children's toys. Calor gas and camping gaz are also available.
Public telephone (24 hours) and post box.

Caravans, Motor homes and tents all welcome.

Two motor homes drive over waste disposal points, waste water and chemical disposal points. Daily refuse collection from covered bin compounds.

Electric hook-up points

Dogs are welcome provided they are under control and do not inconvenience other visitors or interfere with local farmers. Dog exercise area with waste-bins.

Holiday apartments for letting.

Deep sinks with free hot water for dish washing.

Excellent on-site fishing for dace, barble, trout, grayling, and chub.
