SITE INFORMATION
Whether it is the wonderful sea air or the unique and friendly atmosphere, Aeron Coast has developed a reputation as a perfect tonic for those who wish to recharge and relax while having available a full range of high quality facilities.
They have the unique situation of being part of the picturesque seaside village of Aberaeron. The Park is set within 22 acres of flat coastal land on Cardigan Bay, between Aberystwyth to the north and Cardigan to the south. There are 200 owner occupied static caravans. Some of these families have been with them from the start in the 1960's and Aeron Coast is home from home between March and October.
Their loyalty is greatly valued and at the beginning of each season they will notice the changes which have been made over the winter months for their comfort. The remainder of the plots have been developed to accommodate touring caravans, motorized homes and tents. In short, Aeron Coast is a very happy mix of regular visitors who rebook from year to year and new faces who they are always delighted to meet for the first time.
Indoor facilities include
When you first arrive at Aeron Coast you will call in at our Site Office to register. This is the hub of the Park and you will meet their office staff and have a chance to familiarise yourselves with the layout. Mr. John Williams is their site manager and Mrs. Julie Williams runs the Office. The Office is the place to come for any extra information or help you might need. It sells calor gas and has a wide range of leaflets with ideas as to how you might explore this beautiful part of the British Isles. There is a public telephone box outside the Office and emergency telephone numbers are posted here. The Office stocks a range of camping consumables but for a quick convenience shop the Petrol Station at the entrance of the Park has a good selection of essentials.
There is a Club House, run by the manager Mrs. Bridget Harries, which all adults automatically join when you book with them. The Club offers a large open plan lounge, separate family room and television room. Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted in some areas of the Club after 9pm. The Club offers bar meals and take away snacks at lunchtime and in the evenings after 6.30pm at the weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.
Attached to the Club House is their leisure complex with an under 5's room, table tennis, air hockey and two pool rooms.
Outdoor facilities include
They have an enclosed complex of three heated outdoor pools, one of these being a paddling pool for their youngest swimmers. There are sun loungers and tables with parasols. The pools and poolside area are unsupervised and they urge you to accompany any child under 15 to the pool area and be aware of their safety notices and life saving equipment.
At the far end of the Park are full-size and half-size tennis courts together with a hard-surface 5 a-side football/basketball area and a large sandpit with Pirate Ship.
Our site rules are:
They welcome you and sincerely hope your time with them is enjoyable. It is inevitable that there is a carefree attitude on holiday, in particular at a caravan park with its open spaces and sense of freedom. Therefore they ask you all to make your families aware of the potential dangers and rules we expect to be observed on the park. These are not intended to be comprehensive but are reminders of the more obvious matters. they would appreciate you spending a few minutes reading these notes together.
