SITE INFORMATION

Afon Teifi Caravan Park is ideally situated in the heart of the Teifi Valley just two miles from the market town of Newcastle Emlyn.

This makes it the perfect location for exploring the diverse West Wales countryside and beaches with the added pleasure of being able to study the abundant wildlife including the seals and dolphins of Cardigan Bay.

Famous for its game fishing, the River Teifi meanders along the edge of the park. This provides the opportunity for the novice or expert to fish for that most prized of fish, the wild salmon which, together with the sea trout, fights the currents and rapids to reach their spawning grounds up river.

The Park is also at the cross roads for Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire which feature their own individual coastlines and attractions so you are at the very centre spot for a towing holiday.

The site is well established and has been run by Sandra Bishop since 1991. Caravans, tents and motor homes are all welcome on this family park which is fully open from the end of March through to the end of October.

The level site has 110 pitches for all units and most have electric hook-ups. Some pitches are sheltered by hedges and trees and some have concrete hard standings.

Afon Teifi Caravan Park provide a high standard of facilities and is annually inspected by the AA, Caravan and Camping Club and the A.N.W.B.

Their facilities include:

Shower / Toilet Block with free hot water.

The Gents are provided with razor points.

The Ladies have washing cubicles with bathroom and hairdryer.

Separate disabled toilet, washbasin and shower.

Fully equipped laundry room with washing, drying and ironing facilities.

Tarmacadam roading with ample lighting.

Water taps at convenient locations.

Chemical Toilet disposal point.

Calor Gas sales.

Childrens' Park with kick about area.

Games Room with table tennis, table football, darts and video machines. Dogs are welcomed when controlled and on a lead.

15 acres of grounds for dog exercising and leisure walking.

River side walk separated from the Park by fencing.

Daily and weekly game fishing permits available.

Also within a very short walking distance of 100 yards you will find a well stocked garage / shop and the local pub with its own restaurant.

The local area is full of attractions so that you can obtain that true West Wales flavour. Visit working farms, woolen and flour mills, cheese making displays, the local chocolate factory, steam railways.

Aberporth

Ideal sandy bay for the children to enjoy split into two beaches plus a concrete launching ramp for small boats at high tide.

Penbryn

Penbryn beach is totally unspoilt with a mile of golden sand and can be approached by a woodland walk from the National Trust Car Park

Tresaith

At first, it seems as though there is only one beach but at low tide, walk round to the second beach on the right to see the waterfall cascading from the cliff top. A favorite haunt for those that enjoy sailing their dinghies or those that wish to windsurf.

Cwmtudu

If you feel that you wish to escape from the crowd, travel down the winding lanes to find this secluded pebble beach that has avoided the pressures for change.

Llangrannog

A small beach side holiday village found at the very bottom of a deep valley with a few good 'eating holes'.
