Brockwell Wood offers Natural Woodland Camping and is only 7 miles away from Newcastle upon Tyne in 26 acres of ancient woodland, offering visitors a tranquil, yet accessible retreat from the hurly-burly of modern life.

This campsite is for those who want a back to nature experience - they don't have shops, toilets and showers at the site, but they do offer real back-to-basics camping. You are welcome to light a fire responsibly in your ready made fire pit, clearing up afterwards. Remember the bushcraft code: "Take nothing, leave nothing, leave no trace".

BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL, please don't turn up unannounced as you will be disappointed.
