Burrowhead Holiday Village in Newton Stewart is a beautiful family owned holiday park, designed for tent, motorhome, lodge and caravan holidays in Scotland. It is set in a remote location on the Dumfries and Galloway coast. The park is family and pet friendly and offers exceptional views across the Irish Sea and of the Solway Firth and the Isle of Man, as well as access to miles of rugged and unspoiled coastline. Although the park is in a remote location, the huge selection of facilities and activities offered at the site makes it the perfect place for your family holidays.

Burowhead park opens from early March and remains open until early January, and has a range of accommodation options available to guests. There are 90 touring pitches available for guests with motorhomes and touring caravans, there are 22 pitches for guests with tents, while there is one holiday home and two lodges to rent, as well as 10 chalet/apartments for hire. Burrowhead Holiday Village also has a large number of holiday homes and lodges for sale for those who would like to buy holiday homes in Scotland.

All of the touring and motorhome pitches benefit from electric hook up. Additional facilities available for guests to use during their stay include sanitary blocks, a laundrette, washing up area, and a chemical waste disposal point. The site has a private water supply, with taps available across the park. Unless you're used to the local water, it's probably best to boil it before drinking, or stock up on bottled water.

A family bar (with free wifi) and café facility found at Burrowhead Holiday Village means you will always be able to pick up something to eat and drink, while the on-site shop is well-stocked with a variety of goods for self-catering. There's a takeaway food option at the holiday park, too.
