It is also a great base for discovering more about this part of the Midlands, from the bright lights of Birmingham to the beautiful cathedral at Lichfield.The Club's latest campsite at Drayton Manor is part of the Manor estate and at the centre of the action. At the Park you'll find a host of rides - from the thrill of Apocalypse to the traditional carousel - and a zoo containing more than 100 animals, with a passion for conservation.Thomas Land, an attraction dedicated to Thomas the Tank Engine, is perfect for the younger members of the family and there is a variety of places to eat and drink.

It is a great base for discovering more about this part of the Midlands, from the bright lights of Birmingham to the beautiful cathedral at Lichfield.There is plenty more to see and do in the area around the park, including Conkers, the award-winning outdoor attraction at the heart of the National Forest. The forest itself aims to create 200 square miles of woodland in this central England location and more than 8 million trees have already been planted.The Snowdome in Tamworth has real show and you can ski, snowboard and toboggan here.The National Memorial Arboretum, the UK's year-round centre of remembrance, is at Alrewas, a few miles away from the campsite.Lichfield Cathedral is the only medieval cathedral with three spires.
