SITE INFORMATION

The site is tucked in between the Lake District and the Pennines. The area is an attraction in its own right as well as giving easy access to the mountains and moors on either side. They are in a rain shadow area, so whatever you might expect in the Lake District, you’ll get less here.

There are electric hook-ups and free Calor Gas powered showers on the site.

Wireless broadband is also available for no extra charge.

A chemical toilet disposal point and a wash house with WC are available to campers.

Pets are welcome, but they must be well behaved and kept under strict control
