The Gateway Holiday Park is one of the most popular campsites for touring caravans, motor homes and tents in South West Wales. The campsite overlooks the beautiful Loughor estuary, with spectacular views across the Gower Peninsula. For culture seekers and shopaholics the bustling city of Swansea is only half an hour’s drive away and You are minutes from both Trostre & Pemberton retail parks.Lovers of the Great Outdoors will be spoilt for choice as you are situated right on the new 22km Millennium Cycle Path, a scenic route running along the coast from the village of Bynea to the stunning forests & beaches of Pembrey Country Park. Machynys golf course is 10 minutes away, and less than a mile from the campsite is Parc y Scarlets,the new home of the Scarlets Rugby Club. Nature lovers & bird watchers alike can enjoy the 450 acre National Wetlands centre of Wales, which is only 2 minutes up the road or simply relax and enjoy some sea-fishing along the estuary.The campsite and its facilities are open all year round. All The facilities are open to the public, so whether you are staying on site or just visiting for the day or evening, all are welcome to enjoy the Restaurant & Bar (with free live entertainment every weekend!), The Indoor Children's Play Area andthe Indoor Heated Swimming Pool. 

With the large family bar & restaurant and smaller, cosy lounge bar the Gate Inn offers something for everyone.The main family bar seats up to 260 people and has a varitey of acts most days of the week.The relaxing lounge bar is a more serene room designed for adults. With plush leather seats and a state-of-the-art jukebox, it caters for up to 60 people.Both bars serve including John Smiths, Brains Dark, Guinness, Bulmers, Strongbow, Kronenbourg & Fosters.All major sports matches are shown on the large screen Sky TVs, the atmosphere during Welsh rugby matches is second to none! We serve food all day long, 7 days a week. A sample of the chef’s culinary delights include a traditional full breakfast and lighter bites such as jacket potatoes & baguettes. Thursday night is steak night where you can enjoy an 8oz steak with homemade chips & all the trimmings plus a pint or a glass of wine .They also serve old favourites such as scampi, burgers, lasagne, curries and more. Vegetarian dishes are on offer There is also a childrens menu For those with a sweet tooth, indulge in one of the deliciously wicked cakes on display in our dessert cabinet.
