SITE INFORMATION

You have the best of both worlds when you stay at Greenwoods. They are close to the excitement of the beaches and other local attractions but far enough away to offer you a peaceful retreat to return to at the end of a busy day.

Parents permitted to bring an extra tent to pitch for their children. This offer is at no additional charge to you.

There is a public bus stop 200 metres from the campsite with service to Fakenham and Kings Lynn. Many of our guest have left the car behind and made day trips to the beach using Coast Hopper from Fakenham and shopping in Kings Lynn.

You will be well looked after when you stay with them and they do their best to cater to your every need. They hope to see you soon.

They are a small and friendly campsite that accommodates motor homes, caravans, tents, trailer tents of all shapes and sizes. Their pitches are properly marked and quite spacious measuring approximately 32 feet across so there won't be a problem pitching  very large tents.

The site manager also offers assistance to help you set up (if required) which makes our site a great place for beginners to learn the fun and excitement of camping in the great outdoors.

White vans, motorcycles, and conversions are always welcome.

On site facilities include  free showers, separate ladies and gentlemen toilets, a large and small fridge freezers to store food, a washing up facility, chemical disposal point, public phone, disabled toilet, and every pitch has a 16 amp electric hook up if required.

There is also a public foot path directly next to the campsite offering long leisurely walks along quiet back roads.

They also offer season pitches and winter store for your caravan at competitive rates.

Originally called Manor Park Touring Caravans, the park opened in 1995. Many improvements and modifications have been completed since then to include a new entry way and larger pitches.

They have thirty two pitches and each measures 32 feet across ironically enough. The pitches are properly marked so all campers have a guide to use when pitching up.

The site has a gradual slope which is perfect for drainage in wet conditions. This was a blessing during the end of May Bank Holiday in 2007 where just under 3" of rain fell in less than 72 hours. There wasn't any standing water on or around site. They have had tents on every pitch so the slope is not extreme.

The site manager always offers assistance to help you pitch up. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or just starting out, help and assistance is always available.

They changed the name to Greenwoods Campsite in 2007 as some of their clients were confusing them with a similarly named site on the coast. Their new name comes from the 1 acre of woodland that is on site.

If you're looking for a quiet retreat that is close to all of the local attractions then please give them a try. There are no clubs or pubs within 1 mile of the site.

They have a public footpath that runs adjacent to our campsite which goes for miles. There is no shortage of places to take your dog for a walk.

They also have great rural road access for the bike enthusiasts.
