SITE INFORMATION

In the Northumberland National Park, perfect for outdoor activities and great days out.

Located in the Northumberland National Park and Northumberland International Dark Sky Park – considered to be the most tranquil place in the UK – our Bellingham Club campsite will appeal to campers looking for a relaxing break as well as those seeking adventure.

This is a level, well maintained campsite with modern facilities including a shop, short dog walk, children’s play area, warm indoor social space, kitchen, drying room, family wet room and games room.

There are numerous walking and cycling opportunities from the site. Walk to the busy village of Bellingham (20 mins) and then to the magical Hareshaw Linn waterfall through ancient woodland. Enjoy a walk along the North Tyne riverbank, cycle the quiet lanes to Greenhaugh village, or spend the day in Kielder Water and Forest Park. As befits an International Dark Sky Park, the area has exceptionally low light pollution and offers breathtaking night skies. History lovers will enjoy Hadrian’s Wall, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the remarkable National Trust properties of Cragside and Wallington.

Camping Pods are available on Bellingham however these cannot be booked online. 

Worth Noting

All pitches have electric hook-up. Those booking tents who do not want electric should book via the site on 01434 220175. Only ‘green’ septic tank safe (non disinfectant) chemical toilet fluids can be used on this site. Please call the site for clarification. Bellingham currently hold a 5 star rating with Visit England and an AA 5 Gold Pennant Award.

Eat Local

A well-stocked shop sells local produce such as bacon, sausages and Tarset Valley marmalade. There are excellent local pubs and a café, speak to site staff on arrival to find out more.
