SITE INFORMATION

Harlyn Sands Holiday Park is situated on the North Cornish Coastline in between Newquay and Padstow on Trevose Head. They are just a few minutes walk away from Harlyn Bay, Constantine Bay and Mother Ivy´s Bay, which are safe and clean and offer a mixture of surfing, snorkeling or bathing.

Harlyn Bay and Constantine Bay are life guarded by the RNLI from May to September. Dogs are welcome on all beaches in the area.

Harlyn Sands is surrounded by miles of spectacular coastline walks, and is only a short drive to Wadebridge, St Austell and Truro. The magnificent Eden project is only 45 minutes away, the bustling surfing resort of Newquay only 25 minutes away and the beautiful fishing village of Padstow only 5 minutes away.

As Their slogan states they are a family owned park, run 1st and foremost for families. They cater for the younger children, and know that if the kids are happy then mum and dad´s happy. With their teenage curfew and restrictions on the number of teenagers per booking they offer a safe haven for you and your family.

They are sorry but they do not allow single sex parties or groups at any time.

Their well-trained holiday team are there to look after you from the moment you book your holiday to the moment you depart. They will make sure you have a rewarding and relaxing experience with them.

Their luxurious Holiday Homes come in range of sizes ensuring they can offer accommodation for all the families.

They pride Theirselves on their cleanliness of the caravans, and believe the holiday is made or broke as soon as the front door is opened. You will need to bring with you your own duvet covers, bed sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels.

They are sorry but cannot allow dogs in any of their new holiday homes or in homes that they have previously not allowed dogs.

They also ask that are holiday homes are kept no smoking in light of recent legislation changes.

If it's a camping holiday you´re thinking of, they can cater for you too!

They have eighty level, grass pitches on their main park with a unisex shower block, ladies' and gents' toilet blocks, a laundry block and a washing up area. There is a small charge of 20 pence for approximately 4 minutes for our showers, this is to try and stop people using the showers for a long period in order to allow everyone to have a nice shower.

During the school summer holidays they also have the Beach Field, which is a grass field overlooking Harlyn Bay. With possibly the best views from any camping field in Cornwall and away from the noise and distractions of the main park and clubhouse, this could be the perfect place for your family to holiday.

It has pitches both with and without electrical hook up points. However, the Beach Field does not have any toilets showers or laundry facilities, but you do have full use of the main park facilities which are approximately a five minute walk away.

Their Park Pitches are approximately thirty feet by thirty feet and are situated on the main park with a 6 amp electric hook up point.

Their Beach Field Pitches are approximately thirty feet by thirty feet and start half way down the beach field.

Their Beach Field Hedge Pitches are approximately thirty feet by thirty feet and back onto a private hedge.

Their Beach Field Electric Pitches are approximately thirty five feet by thirty five feet and have a 6 amp electric hook up point.

Their Beach Field Electric Hedge Pitches are approximately thirty five feet by thirty five feet, back onto a private hedge and have a 6 amp electric hook up point.

If you are towing a caravan please make sure you come across Trevose Golf Course to gain access to Harlyn Sands.

The beach field is open for tents from the 25th July until 31st August 2009 and for caravans, motor homes & camper vans the field is open from the 25th July until the 15th August 2009.

They do ask that you are ecological with your usage of electricity. Having several items on at the same time will blow your trip, especially during peak times and in bad weather.
