SITE INFORMATION
Houghton Mill Caravan Club Site, owned by The National Trust, sits neatly on the banks of the River Great Ouse, offering spectacular views. The entire area is a paradise for walkers, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. The abundance of footpaths and bridleways for walkers, horse riders and cyclists along and across the many waterways make this a caravan park that won't disappoint.
Across the river from Houghton Mill Caravan Club Site, the last working watermill in the area offers milling demonstrations (held every Sunday during the season), where visitors can sample local traditions and purchase the flour. The caravan site is situated on the fringe of the pretty village of Houghton, which offers a wealth of timbered and thatched-roof cottages, along with friendly pubs and quaint shops to browse in.
