Open all year Inglenook is a Family run park and you will certainly receive a warm welcome from them whatever the time of year Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall they are delighted that their visitors return year after year to stay either to in their holiday homes or on their favourite touring or tenting pitch. Not only is the abundance of activities and splendid scenery to enjoy there is also their “resident family” of red squirrels which they see around the park.
Inglenook is a pet friendly site so bring them along so they to can enjoy walks through the the woods and around the many lakes in the area. They ask that you kindly keep pets on a lead at all times whilst on the park.
Their location on the edge of the Lake District is ideal for walkers who can step out of bed and onto the fells, for families with young children who delight in the many visitor attractions along the Cumbrian Coast or for those visitors who want to just sit and soak up the friendly atmosphere and stunning scenery at Inglenook.
Inglenook is perfectly located for all to enjoy that the Western Lake District has to offer. They will do their best to ensure that you have a relaxing and enjoying holiday.
Inglenook Caravan Site is located in the Western Lake District in the historic village of Lamplugh. This is an area of contrasts with beautiful beaches, high mountains, tranquil lakes and gentle valleys.
Just a short drive up the road will take you to Ennerdale, Loweswater, Buttermere and Crummock Water. Not forgetting Wainwrights favourite fell, Hay Stacks, meaning you can take in the beautiful surroundings that Cumbria has to offer.
