SITE INFORMATION

Lickpenny Touring Park is located in the heart of the Derbyshire dales and stands within 16 acres of a truly picturesque setting. This tranquil retreat is set above the village of Tansley and near to the towns of Matlock and Bakewell.

The park has a wide range of facilities, and good sized pitches. Although there pitches are large they now offer a number of extra large deluxe pitches, all of which have their own water, drainage and electric. Being elevated they have fantastic views.

Lickpenny accept caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents, but not tents.

Lickpenny is open all year round, has hardstandings and heated utility blocks so that you can enjoy "out of season" touring. Winter, spring, summer or autumn, this is a beautiful area to explore. So no matter when in the year you would like to pay them a visit you will always find a warm welcome at Lickpenny Caravan Park Matlock, Derbyshire.

Lickpenny Caravan Park is built on former nursery stock land, and they have enhanced most of the existing mature trees and beautiful rhododendrons to make this a most peaceful retreat for all wishing to visit.

Some of the pitches have fantastic views over the surrounding hills and towards the historic Riber Castle, and beyond. There are large grassed areas for your recreation and a woodland walk which provides ample room for nature and dog walks.

There pitches are both generous in size and well separated. All there pitches are hardstandings, so there is no need to worry about the weather.

Calor Gas bottles are available for exchange on the site. They sell milk, and bread and papers are available to order. Lickpenny is also well placed to take advantage of public transport should you wish to leave your car or motor caravan on site. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead.

The children's play area is not situated on the pitches but still in clear view.
