SITE INFORMATION
Lucksall Caravan and Camping Park is a family run park set in 17 acres of immaculately kept level grassland, bordered on one side by the River Wye. It is closely bordered on the other side by their own 85 acres of woodlands. It is ideally suited to all types of mobile holiday accommodation for guests who prefer a natural inland park, giving space, freedom, peace and quiet.
Well supervised children are welcome at Lucksall, but due to their rural location they endeavour to preserve the peaceful country atmosphere of the park and therefore do not have a swimming pool, amusements, clubhouse/bar or children's entertainment.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome at Lucksall but MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst on the park, exercised in the area provided and not allowed to foul the park.
120 large, flat and closely mown pitches - all with 16 amp electric hook up. Many are riverside and many sheltered, giving the site the feel of a small intimate family site.
Two facilities blocks, cleaned daily with flush toilets, wash basins, showers, and hand dryers. A separate disabled unit has been incorporated in the new facilities block which contains a toilet, shower, wash basin, hand dryer & shaver point.
The on site shop stocks most staple requirements.
Within 1 ½ miles of the park is a larger mini super market, newsagent, post office, off licence, butcher, garage, medical centre, church and a selection of local country pubs serving good food.
They have separate wash and laundry rooms with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and deep sink for hand washing.
There are ample drinking water points, kitchen and chemical waste disposal.
There is a fenced play area for children's play.
Dog exercise area.
Newly created field designed to accommodate rallies.
Their shop is well stocked with all the essentials a camper might require, with a wide range of both fresh and frozen food, right through to a selection of caravan/motorhome care products and replacement parts.
If you would like a newspaper in the morning then pre-order it and they will insure they have it in stock for you.
They try and source as many items as they can from local producers and suppliers. These are currently as follows:-
Wide range of meats from the local village butchers
Dairy Products from the local dairy
