SITE INFORMATION

Why not spend your holiday in all the peace and grandeur of the Scottish West Highlands, yet only a five minute drive from a famous and attractive Argyllshire touring centre?  Gallanachmore, where you can stay at a well equipped caravan and camping site, offers the best of both worlds.

Gallanachmore covers 340 acres set by the sea with magnificent views to the Island of Kerrera. The site offers all the charm and tranquillity of a truly rural setting - guests may feel they are a million miles away from the bustle of modern life, but just three miles down the road is the delightful centre of Oban with its shops, restaurants and many other  facilities.

FACILITIES

SHOP

There is an on-site shop in the reception building.  It is well stocked with general groceries, bread, milk, newspapers, toys, postcards, stamps and off-license goods

SHOWER BLOCKS

There are 3 toilet/shower blocks. The two largest blocks were fully refurbished in 2014. The smaller block has also now been fully refurbished

Wi-Fi

Superfast outdoor WiFi network provided by BoB Broadband.

DOGS

Dogs are very welcome, but we ask that they are kept on the lead whilst on the park.  A wooded hillside next to the touring and tent fields has been set aside as a dog walking area.

CAMPERS KITCHEN

The park provide a gas hob for cooking, a microwave, a freezer to store ice-packs, and shelter. There are no dishwashing sinks in the campers kitchen but a dishwashing area is located just across the driveway behind the reception building.

TV/GAMES ROOM

A games room with a pool table and football table is available for all guests to use. The pool table and football table both take 1 x 50p coin per game.

HOT & COLD DRINKS

A vending machine for hot drinks is provided in the laundry room at the back of the reception building. Picnic tables are provided outside the reception/shop building on our decking area so that you can sit with a drink and enjoy the view.

LAUNDRY

Washing machine and tumble dryer are available for guests. The washing machine takes £3 in pound coins. The tumble dryer takes 50p coins. 50p will last for 15 minutes.

SWINGS

The Park have swings available for the children.  The swings are located in a fenced area between the main touring field and main tent field.

BARBECUES

Visitors are welcome to use barbecues on the site. We ask that you use bricks (which we provide) to raise your barbecue off the grass if it is a disposable barbecue without legs.  The bricks can be found outside each toilet/shower block and we ask that you please return them after use.
