SITE INFORMATION

Presthope Caravan Club Site is an interesting location for the naturalist, with abundant wildlife everywhere. Located on the southern slope of Wenlock Edge, it is only 2½ miles away from the charming Shropshire town of Much Wenlock. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, this caravan site is a real find for keen walkers. Exploring the stunning landscapes of Long Mynd and the Cardingmill Valley will be a delight if this is your first visit to the area and as a bonus the Shropeshire Way long distance path runs  ½ mile away.The World Heritage Site at Ironbridge is easily reached from Presthope Caravan Club Site and is certainly well worth the visit with its dramatic Gorge, interesting Museums and captivating Bridge being just a few of the landmarks that will catch your eye. For historic transport enthusiasts, there are steam trains at Bridgnorth and World War II aircraft at the RAF Cosford Collection. There are also a number of National Trust properties within easy reach of the caravan park and the towns of Shrewsbury, Telford and Bridgnorth are well worth the mention for a good day out.

There are a number of National Trust properties in the area and the towns of Shrewsbury and Telford are all well worth visiting.This site has 10 acres of land accommodating 73 pitches which are grassed hard standing so steel awning pegs are required.There is no toilet block, but Calor gas is available.Non-members are admitted.
