SITE INFORMATION
Cambridgeshire is notable for delightful villages, set in picturesque locations, and Hemingford Abbots situated adjoining the Great Ouse River, is no exception.
Quiet Waters Caravan Park has been in the Hutson family for over 70 years, and is currently run by Linda Coulson and her husband Tony, they live on the site along with their daughter and son. Linda followed on from her father William ( Bill ) Hutson, who himself, took over from his father, Harry.
The quiet, peaceful spot occupies 5 acres by the banks of the Great Ouse, and in addition to touring caravans, motor homes and camping there are luxury static caravans for hire (up to 6 births, with 2 separate bedrooms) with parking alongside. Four of these caravans overlook the river, the remaining have park views. There are excellent toilet and shower facilities and laundry room maintained to a very high standard. Also Quiet Waters is a residential mobile home park, offering 32 retirement homes with all amenities.
The site offers angling and boating facilities, including rowing boats for hire from their own banks, and country walks and cycling routes available from the park. A golf course can be found within one mile.

Historic St Ives is the jewel of the Ouse Valley. The ancient town is famous for its unique 15th century bridge, with a chapel built midstream, the Parish Church beside the river bank and a statue of Oliver Cromwell, who lived there as a young man. St Ives has top class sporting facilities at its indoor and outdoor leisure centres, while the Ouse Valley provides opportunities for water sports, walking, cycling and observing wildlife.
