On the Ardnamurchan peninsula, in the Scottish Highlands their comfortable accommodation and facilities will ease away the stresses of modern living. Resipole has been owned and managed by the same family who have lived here for over 40 years, and they are always on hand to ensure you get the most from your stay.
Take a walk through the ancient Sunart Oakwoods which have been designated as a Special Area of Conservation. This is one of the few areas where the Ancient Caledonian Oak Forest still remains.
Climb the hills out to the summit of Beinn Resipol (a Corbett, 845m), enjoy the spectacular views out to Skye, the Inner and Outer Hebrides and over to Ben Nevis.
Resipole Farm is a working farm and extends to the top of Ben Resipole which rises to 2775 ft. The highland Cattle graze in the Oakwoods where there is a programme in place to monitor the effects of the cattle on the flora and fauna of the woods in order to preserve and enhance the area. The tourism side of the farm has been in existence for over thirty years and the family are always on hand to ensure your holiday goes without a hitch.
Ardnamurchan offers a wide range of opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. Lochaber is recognized as the out door capital of the UK. The wide variety of flora and fauna fully justified the designation of the area as a Special area of Conservation.
A lovely drive from the site takes you to the point of Ardnamurchan which is the most Westerly point on Britain's mainland. On the point is Ardnamurchan lighthouse which was built in 1849 the Stevenson family. It is the only lighthouse in the world built in an Egyptian style. On the same road heading towards the lighthouse is the Glenmore natural history centre. The centre also has a tearoom, together with a gift and book shop.
Very close to the site is the Garbh Eilean Wildlife Hide. This gives an ideal opportunity to see some of the more elusive wildlife in the area such as otters and pine martens. The hide is rocky knoll on the shore of Loch Sunart within the native oakwood. A wide variety of birds are regularly spotted from the hide, and herons and common seals are almost always seen.
The touring park enjoys wonderful views over Loch Sunart across to the Morvern Hills. The level and spacious park offers all the facilities to guarantee a peaceful and stress free experience.

A haven for wildlife the loch side location means a variety of sea birds, seals and otters can be seen by the patient observer. From the surrounding woods and hills red deer, foxes, badgers and pine martens are regular visitors.
