Sandy Beach Estate comprises of two separate holiday parks catering for all your leisure requirements.

Their larger park at Sandy Beach has, as its name suggests, direct access onto ¾ mile of blue flag beach. To the rear of the site is open farmland with panoramic views of Snowdonia.

This park is split into three sections; static caravans, a graded seasonal touring area and a general camping and touring caravan section. The park is open from March to the end of October.

In addition to their main park, Sandy Beach Estate has also recently undertaken development of the exclusive Trefadog site. Situated in the adjacent bay, this site offers their more discerning customer an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a limited number of bespoke lodges.

Both family-owned parks are run by a professional, dedicated management team, with over 25 years’ industry experience.

Sandy Beach is located to the north east of Holyhead in Anglesey, North Wales. Porth Tywyn Mawr (Sandy Beach) has been welcoming tourists for over 40 years and prides itself on providing a traditional family holiday experience, free of the amusement arcades, noisy disco bars and smoke clogged environments of the modern holiday parks!

The site has recently been upgraded and now boasts state of the art CCTV and a card accessed gate entry system for added security.

Due to its coastal location and direct access to the Irish Sea, via our private launch, the park offers excellent opportunities for the water-sports enthusiast.

Nature lovers will be mesmerised by the plethora of wildlife, including puffins and other rare birds, together with grey seals, porpoise and the occasional sighting of a bottle-nosed dolphin. A visit to South Stack and the observation post run by the RSPB is a must for adults and children alike.

The site has its own shop for your basic needs but approximately 3 miles from the site you will find a Spar 24 hour convenience store for all your needs. A short drive from the site and you will find a Tesco store, Kwik-Save, Iceland and many others.

All spacious static pitches on Sandy Beach Caravan Park are serviced by 16 amp mains supply, water and sewerage/drainage.

A recently installed CCTV & gate entry system offers maximum security and peace of mind for caravan owners.

A limited number of pitches are available for siting new caravans, which can be purchased from our approved dealers.
