SITE INFORMATION

Severn Gorge Park is set on level ground and is almost completely surrounded by Tweedale Woods giving the feeling of a countryside setting even though they are are less than a 10 minute drive from Telford Town Centre.

The Park is ideally located for the World Heritage sites of the Ironbridge Gorge & Museums, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. The historic market town of Bridgnorth, which is also the home of the Severn Valley Railway; the county town of Shrewsbury and the whole of Shropshire are all within a short drive away.

Severn Gorge Park has been previously graded with Five Stars by the English Tourism Council three Pennants by the AA and has received a 'Loo of the Year' Award for their toilet and shower facility. They are open all year round and offer superb facilities for 10 Touring Adult Caravans or MotorHomes. The park is also adult only.

Through continued investment, they now offer excellent hard-standings with electric hook up points water and waster, water / sewer connections to all pitches, a clean well appointed and centrally heated toilet and shower block, separate disabled toilet and shower facilities and woodland walks through the adjoining Tweedale Woods.

Local Bus companies provide regular services to Telford and surrounding areas from the entrance to the Park. Madeley Village, as well as local pubs and restaurants, is only a short walk away
