SITE INFORMATION

The Quiet Site campsite is located between Little Mell Fell and Ullswater in Cumbria, England. The views have a definite alpine feel: look West for the impressive Helvellyn and Fairfield, East for the Pennines and South for Barton, Hallin and Place Fells.

The all weather tent pitches are flat terraces with a pea gravel centre and a grassy surround. This pea gravel centres means we virtually eliminate mud, even when the site experience heavy rain.  The pea gravel is smooth and round but if you would like to borrow one of their groundsheets to put down under your tent please ask at reception.  All the pitches have lovely views down towards Ullswater.

Campers are welcome to use the campsite’s fridges, freezers, toaster, kettle and microwave and toaster. Stands are available for disposable BBQs.
