Thurston Manor is an independent, family-owned holiday home park in the heart of East Lothian, one of the prettiest parts of Scotland. They are proud to provide holiday accommodation and facilities of the highest standard. Visitors of all ages have the chance to enjoy an idyllic setting where they can do as much or as little as they wish.

Thurston Manor is on a 250-acre site at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills. It was once a Scottish country estate, and the old walled garden forms a unique setting for some of their holiday homes.

The historic coastal town of Dunbar is just a short distance away, and the sea and sandy beaches are closer still. It’s easy to get there from the rest of the UK and further afield. Edinburgh is only 25 miles away via the nearby A1, and there are good train and bus links.

Thurston Manor offers a unique experience because it is entirely independent. It is owned and operated by the Dunham family, who have been in the holiday homes business since 1977.

Dennis Dunham bought Thurston Manor in 1991. Since then the park has benefited from a high level of investment and developed into a popular holiday destination. Its day-to-day running is in the capable hands of Dennis' son Andrew and Andrew’s wife Carol, who live with their three children on the park.

The Dunhams also own and operate Pease Bay Holiday Home Park in the Scottish Borders.

The Glen at Thurston Manor is their fantastic new development of luxury holiday lodges and caravans. Nestled in a lovely lakeside valley setting, 'The Glen' features luxury holiday homes each sited, landscaped furnished to the very highest standard.

Thurston Manor is an ideal spot to spend some or all of your touring or camping holiday. You’ll enjoy first class facilities, and can experience everything that their park, including the entertainments program and leisure centre, has to offer.

All their pitches are serviced with an electric hook-up. Caravan and motor home owners can also choose one of their ‘super pitches’ that are hard standing and provide hook ups to water and grey waste disposal. their clean, well-equipped and fully-heated shower block provides:

Constant hot water for showers and dishwashing

Separate disabled shower room (which can also be used for family bathing)

Baby changing facilities

Laundrette (washing machines and dryers)

Toilets
