SITE INFORMATION

Wansbeck Riverside Caravan and Camping Site can be found nestling on the banks of the River Wansbeck.The site is Council owned and operated by the resident wardens Ian and Tracey Proudlock (with a little help from the family).It's a perfect base for families and couples wishing to explore the spectacular coastline, breathtaking countryside and dramatic castles of Northumberland, or for an over-night stop on the way to or from Scotland.

Nestling on the banks of the river Wansbeck you will find the touring caravan and camping site of Wansbeck Riverside.

This site has individual hard standing bays for caravans and motorhomes with dividing hedges for privacy, very French like. There is also a pleasant sheltered area for tents. The site is well lit at night.Adjoining the site is a childrens play park and paddling pool.

The site is located within Wansbeck Riverside Country Park with the opportunity to observe a wide variety of scenery and its wildlife of birds, rabbits, badgers and red squirrels.

One of the riverside pathways leads directly to the sea at Sandy Bay.
